I am creating a new series called Filigree series which are lace like ornamental work. The first illustration in the series is a nine different types of floral filigree designs. They are great building blocks for patterns, interior design like pillows or wedding invitations.

I like black and white damask pattern as they are chic and glamorous at the same time. Here’s my take on the popular pattern. It’s less ornate than usual with clean lines without straying away from damask look and feel.

Application: Wedding themes, website background, interior design.

Someone wrote to me about liking one of my retro cool cartoon geek guy but wanted some science lab setting complete with table and shelves. So, here’s the result and I think it’s my favorite illustration of the week.
