I can still remember how Niagara Falls is like from the movie Superman II. Niagara Falls, one of the World’s Natural Wonders and i finally got the chance to see the magnificent wonders.

We were lucky to have a friend who stays near the falls. Not only that Sherene was kind enough to put us up at her lovely townhouse, she was our Niagara Falls tour guide! The Falls is about 1 hour drive away from Sherene’s house.

Niagara falls is not just one big waterfall but it is actually a set of 3 separate waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls (sometimes called Canadian Falls), American Falls, and the smaller, adjacent Bridal Veil Falls. They say that you have to see Niagara from the Canadian side, since it has a far superior view of the three falls. But on the American side, you are much closer to water, and you’ll get to appreciate the thunder and spray better!! Just try standing near the Falls for photos, and trust me, your whole back will be soaking wet.

One of the must-do things when you visit the Niagara Falls, is to take the Maid of the Mist, a boat that takes you to the foot of the falls. Unfortunately, we had to skip that because I was too wimpy cold soaking wet.

Hope to visit Sherene again next time.. and next time, will definitely stay longer…:)
